Cristian Castro was born and raised in Brownsville, Texas, and has built his career around leadership, discipline, and relationship driven growth. He earned a full athletic scholarship to play collegiate soccer at Texas College in Tyler, Texas, where he completed his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, graduating with honors.

With over a decade of experience in medical sales, marketing, and business development, Cristian has worked extensively with durable medical equipment (DME) and advanced regenerative medicine technologies. His career has been defined by building strong, long-term relationships with healthcare providers across the Rio Grande Valley, earning a reputation for integrity, reliability, and exceptional customer service. These skills have played a key role in helping position Surge Mobile Physical Therapy for sustained success and growth in the Valley.

Cristian’s leadership approach goes beyond sales — he believes that genuine relationships, service excellence, and trust are the foundation of any successful healthcare organization. His background as a marketing director and medical representative allows him to bridge clinical care with strategic growth, ensuring patients and partners always come first.

Outside of work, Cristian is a dedicated family man and proud father to two children, Mia and Cristian Castro Jr., who serve as his daily motivation. He is also a 3rd-degree black belt, a multiple-time consecutive national champion in the CTF association, and a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu blue belt, reflecting his lifelong commitment to discipline and continuous improvement.

An avid professional diver, Cristian has a deep passion for the ocean and marine life. Exploring the underwater world is a family tradition, and he seeks out rare and unforgettable experiences from swimming with sharks and whales to encountering sea turtles and exotic fish, embracing challenge, curiosity, and respect for nature.
