Aileen is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a bilingual certification, driven by her passion for education and creating inclusive learning environments. Born and raised in Brownsville, TX, Aileen was shaped by the vibrant Mexican and American culture of the Rio Grande Valley, which has influenced her values and perspective.

Outside of her academic and professional pursuits, she is deeply family-oriented and loves spending time with her nephews and family. In her free time, Aileen enjoys working out, reading, and shopping. Recently, she launched her own small business, Alegria Baking, combining her love for baking with entrepreneurship. Aileen’s ability to balance her studies, business, and family keeps her grounded and inspired every day.
