Raul Hernandez

Physical Therapy Aide

Raul was born in Brownsville, Texas, and raised in Matamoros, Mexico, where he developed a strong connection to both cultures. During high school, he sustained a significant ACL and PCL injury that introduced him to the world of rehabilitation and sparked his interest in human recovery and functional movement. This experience ultimately shaped his academic direction.

He went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science with a concentration in Occupational Therapy at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. Raul is set to graduate in the summer of 2026 and plans to continue his education by pursuing a Doctorate in Occupational Therapy.

He aims to become a dedicated clinician who helps individuals regain independence and improve their quality of life, drawing from both his academic training and his personal experience overcoming injury.
